A BIG Announcement!

I have been waiting for just the right time to make an announcement! I am so excited and cannot wait so I figured any time is a "good" time!

I along with my great friend Lesa, am coming out with a new line of clothing for girls called "Loves Me Not". The debut Winter '08 line is called "Ice Bouquet" and will feature lots of rich colors with pops of Ice Blue. The designs are focused towards girls age 2 - 8. We believe in making fashion timeless and comfy at the same time.

We can hardly wait to share all of the wonderful things we have been working on with you! We will be starting out on Etsy and see where the world takes us from there.Labels are on the way and so is the fabric so stay tuned and see what happens next!

First Day of School

Today was the first day of school for us! Quiet early this year, they might as well just start after the 4th of July!

Miss. M. is in the big first grade now so she will be in school all day long now. I have no quiet figured out this whole schedule thing as no one in this house is an early bird....you should have seen the disorganization this morning!

Fall already

I cannot believe that the first day of school is almost here. Where has my summer gone? They say time flies when you are having fun so I must be having a blast!

I love summer and everything about it! My top 5 favorite things about summer:

Flipflops and pedicures
Crickets chirping in the evening
The smell after a rainstorm
The endless sunshine
The warm sun on your skin

Things are a bit crazy now and I will soon have a very exciting announcement to make so stay tuned!!!

I also just listed this new Hello Kitty Halloween set with a matching tote! You can see them both here.

Have a great night!

Sunday Nonsense

While blog surfing tonight, I came across this fabulous site that is so much fun!

You upload your photos and get to play with all sorts of effects.
Ever wonder what your design would look like on the cover of Vogue?

or put a spin on a favorite vintage photo .....

and look a billboard in NY City!

Hoot Hoot

I just finished up with a new set today for the Caramelo launch and I love this set! Probably one of my top 10 favs.

I have always admired the hand painted totes that one very well and talented artist puts her heart and soul into and I too like to doodle a bit. So I gave it a shot....lets just say I do not plan on doing it often. I do not have the patience to sit still and paint like these totes deserve to be painted. So who knows, I may or may not do this again.

As for my photography, I have decided to start sharing some of my not so perfect photos here on my blog. You can see my "pretty show room floor" photos on my auctions.
As many of you know, it is hard to get your little ones to cooperate most of the time. I take around 100 photos per session and only a handful turn out. Is life really that bad? My daughter would probably agree. I am not so nice to make her model corduroy in July, in 95 degree weather. Even a bribe of a trip to the Disney Store did not work this time. So just for laughs, I will share my "unperfect" photos here.

New Begginings

We are just about 2 weeks out from the first day of school again and I cannot believe how quickly it has come! It seems like we just had the last day of school not too long ago.

I have 2 new sets listed today that are perfect for Back to School!

One is a bit more vintage and the other more Euro - whatever your taste they are both sweet! My sister is joining up with me and sewing as well so I will be able to offer more designs this year! Thanks sis!
And speaking of "New Beginnings" I have joined a new group. You will now find me under Boutique LemonLime. VendeMia was my baby and I have a lot of great friendships that have come out of it. I needed more time freed up so I could focus on myself and my designs. The ladies of VendeMia were awesome and I am looking forward to continued friendships!

Visiting the Farm

We drove up to visit my Dad last night and the girls are always so excited to go up there.
I wonder why .....
They can drive down the middle of the road and exceed the speed limit ....

Ride the horses .....

Catch a few toads ....

Hug your sister and still be "cool" .....
Wear whatever you like, even if it does not make sense....
Be up close and personal ....

What a great way to start the weekend.
